Paper Recycling

Everyone is going green. What better way to bring traffic to your business than offering paper recycling. It does not cost the business a thing and it generates revenue for the rescue group. Ask business owners you know to allow us to put a recycle bin on their property. It just has to be accessible to the public 24/7.

Ink jet cartridge recycling…

SMART gets big bucks for old ink jet cartridges. Just leave them at the adoption center at Petsmart at I-45 and FM 1960 or call 713-822-4368 to arrange pick ups. Put a box out at work and encourage co-workers to bring them from home too! Click here to print a sign for your recycling box!

Ask your company about matching contributions...

Many companies will match money their employees donate to charity! Sunmart Animal Rescue Team is a non-profit organization that was established to aid in the resolution of the problems surrounding homeless, abused, and neglected dogs and cats. SMART receives no government funding, so it relies solely upon donations. Many of the animals that the rescue team receives are in need of medical help, and the veterinary bills are extremely costly. Do a litter drive...

SMART always needs CLAY cat litter. Bring it by Petsmart or call 713-822-4368 to arrange a pick up. Other items needed are litter, dog food, grooming tools, old towels and blankets, printing supplies, kitten and puppy powdered formula, dog and cat treats, collars, toys, bedding, carriers, postage, cages, cat trees, bleach, dish soap, laundry detergent, spray bottles, garbage bags, and paper towels.

Computer work…

If you only have time after work or if you don’t like being up at Petsmart, SMART has all kinds of data entry work, mailers, ebay auction listings, follow up phone calls, you name it… If you are interested, just email Adopt_A_Cat_Texas@yahoo.com.
